MLRP Agave 101 Workshop & Field Demonstration

Madera County will be hosting an in-person Agave 101 Workshop on Tuesday, November 19th from 9-11AM at the Madera Community College Auditorium, followed by Field Demonstration Event hosted by the Madera/Chowchilla RCD from 12-1:20PM at the Specialty Crop Company Agave Farm in Chowchilla, CA.   • Overview of Agave
  • Main agave species used in Mexico for the production of distilled beverages
  • Crop management and overview of how agave can be utilized
